The following full academic scholarships are NOW available:

Applicants MUST:
Submit a 250-word essay on the topic “What Being an Entrepreneur Means to Me”.
Please include your name, current mailing address, current email and current phone on the cover page of your essay. Essays missing documentation WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED OR REVIEWED.

Submissions will be accepted starting Sunday, March 10, 2024 at 12pm through April 10, 2024 at midnight.
Scholarships DO NOT COVER textbooks, student kits or non-refundable enrollment or program fees.
Applicants must complete the online application/enrollment form and payment prior to submitting the scholarship application.
If awarded, all required registration fees will be due within 5 business days.
Applicants from Montgomery, Lee, Pike, Bullock, Autauga, Dallas, Elmore, Lowndes, Macon, Butler and all surrounding counties within a 50-mile radius are encouraged to apply.
Candidates who have previously been awarded full or partial scholarships that were not accepted ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO APPLY.
Qualifications:
Scholarship Recipients are required to start class no later than 6 May 2024.
Scholarship Recipients are responsible for all application, enrollment, lab, reservation, technology & graduation fees. These fees, with the exception of the graduation fee; are due on or before the first day of class and are non-refundable.

Student kits & textbooks are the responsibility of the student, not the institution, however, may be purchased on-site.

- All applicants MUST BE at least 30 years of age.
- Current resume listing your work history, if any; your education as well as 3 verifiable personal references.
- Currently employed with verifiable income of no more than $1500.00 per month or $18K per year.
- Must meet all standard enrollment requirements.
- 1 professional letter of recommendation.

Qualifications:
- Must be at least 30 years of age.
- Must have at least a High School Diploma (No GED accepted)
- Massage Therapy Applicants MUST BE able to attend in person classes EVERY MONDAY and Wednesday from 9am until 4pm and 2 Saturdays per month for clinicals after student reaches 500 clock hours from 9am-2pm (class schedules are non-negotiable)
- Applicants applying to attend other programs MUST BE able to attend class in person 2 nights per week from 5:30pm-10pm and 2 Saturdays per month from 8am-2pm.
- Recipients MUST MAINTAIN a minimum GPA of 2.5 (C) or higher at all times during the program.

01 — Beauty Changes Lives Scholarships
Established as a 501c3 in 2013, Beauty Changes Lives is a non-profit organization awarding beauty school tuition scholarships generously funded by leading beauty brands. The Beauty Changes Lives scholarship portfolio includes tuition scholarships for aspiring hairstylists, nail professionals, estheticians, makeup artists, massage therapists and barbers. In addition to “basic” scholarships, Beauty Changes Lives offers “advanced” scholarships for licensed professionals, including beauty educators. Since its inception, Beauty Changes Lives has awarded more than 500 scholarships, opening doors of opportunity that range from working behind the scenes at New York Fashion Week, to opening thriving businesses. 02 --European Wax Center & Beauty Changes Lives
European Wax Center is partnering with Beauty Changes Lives to offer the “Experts in Wax” Scholarship, which is intended to provide an educational opportunity for all current or newly enrolled students of an esthetics or cosmetology program at an accredited school in the U.S. to help offset the cost of tuition. These scholarships help the recipients refine their skills, embrace a career in the personal care industry and become the experts we know they can be so they can help bring out the confidence in their clients. To make it easier, they provide over $100,000 in scholarships and professional tools to cosmetology students each year! The scholarship award and professional tools are valued between $250 – $1,500. 04 — Beauty Schools Directory $2,500 Cosmetology Scholarship
Future students of the beauty disciplines – including cosmetology, barbering, esthetics and skin care, nail technology, makeup artistry and several others – can apply for these $2,500 scholarships for cosmetology school. This beauty school scholarship is awarded four times per year, and may be used at most schools nationwide. The scholarship recipient is selected from the pool of individuals who submit their scholarship applications before the deadline each quarter, and meet the eligibility criteria outlined in the rules. 05 — The Joe Francis Haircare Scholarship Foundation
The Joe Francis Haircare Scholarship Foundation was established in 1994 by his wife of 39 years, Flo Francis, and the many people whom Joe Francis advised and mentored to their own success in the industry. The mission of the foundation is to help deserving students receive financial assistance for the professional training necessary to build successful, long-term careers in the cosmetology industry. Keller International now offers a unique cosmetology scholarship opportunity for one student each year as a way to alleviate some of the financial burden they accrue during their educational journey. The scholarship is from EstheticianEDU.org and is for $500 for those students interested in pursuing a degree in esthetics or a certificate program.
