RRFW was founded in 2022 by a dynamic group of Alabama natives with more than three decades of real-life experience in various aspects of the American fashion and beauty industry from Alabama to Atlanta and New York City. The River Region Fashion Week brand formed solely to elevate the overall fashion culture in this area. The aims are to educate, cultivate and support talent by providing sustainable life skills and economic opportunities for the creatives living in the River Region while seeking community through the global fashion and beauty in today's industry.
The city of Montgomery and its surrounding areas comprise what's commonly known as Alabama's “River Region” a four-county metropolitan area with a combined population of around 375,000 people. This region includes Prattville, Millbrook and Wetumpka with tons of emerging creatives. We also have Selma, Auburn, Birmingham, Greenville, Huntsville and several other hubs with undiscovered talent. This new organization submerged in fashion, hopes to introduce area youth and other local creatives to buyers, career opportunities, the press/media, and the benefits of exposure to the greater general public. Fashion and beauty play major roles in our society, our communities and affect the social aspects of our lives daily. The pursuit of fashion connects people on a global scale to a network of careers and opportunities that become limitless.

RRFW LUXURY LECTURE SERIES featuring a Success & Style Panel as well as Fashion Icons panel discussion. A presenting “Boutique Trunk Show” at the Community Room, The Kress Building in downtown Montgomery. This is a community event at no cost to attendees; from 5-9pm.
FRIDAY
BOUTIQUE BOUNCE live streamed retail experiences at participating boutiques which includes “RRFW Model Meet & Greet” sessions and onsite complimentary spa services offered by the students from Transitions Technical College, Inc. 12PM-6PM
SATURDAY
FASHION’S NIGHT OUT Cocktail Mixer and retail experience at local boutique or showroom depending on the participating partnership 6PM-9PM.

RRFW Southeast Beauty & Wellness Expo The South’s largest Beauty, Fashion and Health Expo featuring hairstylist, barber, nail tech and makeup battles; several fashion, beauty, and wellness brand vendors, as well as several “breakout” educational classes @A.L.O.E (Another Level of Excellence) 10AM-6PM. This event is at no cost to attendees.
The 2023 RRFW RUNWAY SHOW-featuring the collections of designers and boutiques from around the Southeast and beyond. Recognition of Industry Trailblazers and contributors, RRFW Designer of the Year, and Model of the Year @A.L.O.E (Another Level of Excellence) 6PM-8PM. There is charge for admission to this event.
